Another Travel Day! Yey! But in all honesty, I feel bad for mom because she has had to do all the driving (stupid rule about having to be 25 years old to rent a car, or else the price basically doubles). However, today ended up being mostly uneventful because when we got to our destination of Newgrange, the tours for the day were all sold out, as were all the tours for the nearby attractions, such as Trim Castle and the site of the Battle of the Boyne. So today’s post is going to be short and sweet. We made it to Dublin, checked in to our Airbnb and settled in for a while. Mom and Dad ended up taking a walk, but I opted to stay at home. My stupid knee cap keeps popping in and out of place with every bend, so I am planning on laying in bed, watching Netflix, with it propped up on a pillow, hopping that with the help of ibuprofen the swelling will go down and I will be in much better shape tomorrow for walking around town and seeing what all is available to do in Dublin. Ta for now!
